Stéphane and his Swedish wife Åsa live in Glasgow with their Scottish-born daughter, Alma.
Stéphane Denève married Åsa Nilsson in California in 2007 (with French pianist Jean Yves-Thibaudet as best man). They have lived in Glasgow, Scotland since 2005.
